Editorial Policy
Last updated September 1, 2026
Our credibility depends on how we work. This policy describes our standards for research, opinion, sourcing, and updates.
Original content only
Published guides, articles, and card commentary on The PsyDucky are written by Navi A. We do not scrape, spin, or republish other people’s work. Where we reference facts, we describe them in our own words and in context.
Facts vs. opinion
We clearly separate verifiable facts (a card’s set, number, rarity, artist, and release date) from our own opinions (commentary, collectibility scores, and investment outlook). Opinion is always labeled as such, and our valuations are editorial estimates, not guarantees.
How we estimate prices and scores
- Prices are editorial estimates informed by recent public marketplace data where available. We distinguish raw from graded cards, state the condition represented, use US dollars unless a page says otherwise, and show the date of the estimate. Asking prices are not treated as completed sales, and obvious outliers are excluded.
- Collectibility scores are a subjective 0–100 blend of demand, historical importance, artwork, and grade scarcity.
- Investment outlook is a plain-English judgment about how price relates to durable demand — not a prediction or a recommendation to buy or sell.
Independence
Our editorial judgments are independent of any advertiser or affiliate relationship, as described in our Affiliate Disclosure. No third party pays to change a score or outlook.
Updates and review
Each published guide and article shows a last-updated date. Time-sensitive claims and estimates are reviewed when meaningful new information is available. Pages that have not completed our depth and usefulness review remain excluded from search indexing until they are ready.
Corrections
We fix mistakes openly. See our Corrections Policy for how to report an error and how we handle it.
